Controlled Burn Permit Application

Before applying, you must review the Municipality of Bluewater's Open Air Burning By-Law to ensure your planned burn complies with all safety and legal requirements.

To apply for permission to conduct an open air burn within the Municipality Bluewater, please complete and submit this application form.

Important:
Applications must be submitted at least 24 hours prior to the planned burn date.

For weekend burn requests please submit application by Thursday at 4:30 p.m to ensure processing time.

Do not proceed with any burn until you have received approval from the Fire Chief.

The personal information requested on this application form is collected by The Corporation of the Municipality of Bluewater under the authority of the Municipal Act and will be used for the purpose of reviewing and submitting a controlled burn permit in the Municipality.
